To ensure that both the Government and individuals are investing in quality education, training and assessment, the Government has set up nationally recognized processes of quality assurance. There are a number of government appointed bodies responsible for approving qualifications in New Zealand and for the quality that determines the delivery of qualifications. These bodies are:
New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA)
responsible for approving and registering all courses and national qualifications offered at polytechnics and private training establishments.
New Zealand Vice-Chancellor's Committee (NZVCC)
responsible for approving all diplomas, undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by New Zealand universities.
University education was established in New Zealand in 1870 and has a similar tradition to the British university system. There are eight state-funded universities in New Zealand, all of them internationally respected for their academic and research performance: In addition to a centrally co-ordinated system of quality assurance audits at both institution and programme level, each university undertakes internal quality checks. All New Zealand universities offer a broad range of subjects in Arts, Commerce and Science. Each has developed its own specialist subjects such as Medicine, Engineering and Veterinary Science. Computer Studies, Agriculture and Environmental Studies, Sports-Science, Biotechnology, Architecture etc. Bachelor's Masters and Doctoral degrees are offered by all New Zealand universities. A range of under graduate and postgraduate diplomas is also available, along with honours programmes (usually requiring an additional year of study).
New Zealand Polytechnics, and Institutes of Technology, are state funded and provide education and training at all levels ranging from introductory studies through to full degree programmes. A few of them offer PG programmes as well. Polytechnics and Institutes of Technology are efficient tertiary providers offering programmes which can be both academically and vocationally focused. Due to their active engagement with industry, employers and government agencies they provide programmes which are of a high academic standard and are relevant to the rapidly changing workforce on a global basis. Private training establishments are registered and their courses approved by NZQA. Institutions and schools in this sector provide a range of courses including English language, aviation flight training, air traffic control, English, business computing, dance, design and arts, religious studies, travel and tourism and training for the hospitality industry

New Zealand Education Providers will have their own English language requirements for an offer of place depending on the course selected. The following guidelines have been suggested to us by a number of Education Providers in New Zealand and reflect their experience with students from this market.
English scores in CBSE, ICSE, Maharashtra, Kolkata and Chennai boards can also be presented in lieu of IELTS reports. A 60% score in English from one of the aforementioned boards is considered equivalent to an overall IELTS score of 5.5; 65% is considered equivalent to 6.0.

Though each University specifies its application procedure / requirements, generally one can apply for admissions through us at Guruji Overseas, where by all application, admission and correspondence services will be provided by us. You can give us all necessary supporting documents and we will assist you with the entire admission procedure.
Spot Interviews are also conducted by several visiting Universities at our offices: In this case, one is required to attend an interview conducted by university staff/ faculty, who will offer the student an on the spot decision, about whether or not he is eligible for admission. Also, further relevant inquiries can be made and are usually answered by the representative.
DOCCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADDMISSION
The following checklist will be helpful while applying to a university in New Zealand.
T.T Services has been appointed to collect visa applications on behalf of the New Zealand Immigration, New Delhi. For Applicant in Gujarat they have to submit the application at Ahmedabad T.T Services, For, Maharashtra applicant, at Mumbai T.T Services and for Tamil Nadu Applicants, at Chennai T.T Services.
To improve streamline processing of applications in order to provide excellent service, INZ New Delhi identify positive profile applications and these applications are processed to an approval in principal in 30 days.

Exchange Rate used to calculate financial capacity for a student visa
The exchange rates are reviewed every 6 months unless there are significant changes in exchange rates which warrant an earlier review. A review was recently undertaken and it has resulted in no change being made to the current exchange rates. Current Exchange rate for Indian students is INR 39 = 1 NZD
** Evidence of source of income should be provided for the students financial guarantors and parents; ** Documentary evidence in support of every instance of recent deposits should be provided.
The student can indicate when the visa application is lodged that they will remit the funds to the ANZ bank account. If they do this they will not be required to show INZ evidence of funds for cost of living in NZ. If all other aspects of the application are positive the application will go Positive Profile. The student will then receive an Approval in Principal (AIP) Letter requesting them to pay the course fee, deposit the cost of living funds in to the ANZ account and provide INZ evidence of this within 15 days. Visa then issued.
The funds transfer option is to facilitate student visa applications from those students who genuinely intend to study in New Zealand but may not have access to funds older than six months. Students who opt for this process will not be required to provide verifiable documentary evidence to demonstrate the source of recent funds. This option does not preclude the applicant from submitting satisfactory evidence of funds and source of income for their financial guarantors.
The funds held in New Zealand under the Funds Transfer Scheme will accrue interest during the locked in period and the student will receive the monthly accrued interest in the transaction account.
Every month you can withdraw only 1/12th of NZD 15,000 to cover your living costs from your remittance account in NZ. This however does not preclude you from having other personal bank accounts in NZ. You should withdraw the stipulated amount monthly as it becomes due. If you do not do so, the banks will advice INZ of non activity of account.
The following evidence of funds is NOT acceptable:
INZ will only consider originals or certified true copies of original documents when processing applications.
All photocopies must be Certified True Copies only. Certified True Copies must be stamped or endorsed as being true copies of the originals by a person authorised by law to take statutory declarations in the applicants country or in New Zealand. Examples: a lawyer, notary public, Justice of the Peace, or court official. Where photocopies cannot be certified as a true copy of the original, the documents should be submitted in original along with the copy.
INZ can only consider documents in English or certified translations of documents that are not written in English.
Applicants must provide a certified translation for any documents not written in English excluding bank statements and it must be clear who has undertaken the translation. Translations may be prepared by:
